 The POD is ideal size for smaller areas in your home or apartment. It will fit almost anywhere. The POD is tall enough so the bed fits above most window sills allowing your cat to keep track of outdoor activity. Or the POD could be placed next to your arm chair if your cat loves to be in close proximity to its “subjects”. This multi-functional piece of cat furniture is an alternative to the ‘drab’ scratching post, and is built with the same attention to detail as our more expensive cat trees. The POD stands twenty-seven (27) inches tall and is on a base measuring twenty-one (21) inches in diameter. The bed is seventeen (17) inches wide and five (5) inches deep. The unit weights approximately 45 pounds. Heavy duty construction provides durability for the toughest cat use. There is an extra layer of padding in the bed for added comfort. A single hole leads to a “secret” hiding place that’s fully carpeted – this area could also be used for toy storage. The upright tube is wrapped in a high-grade commercial carpet giving your cat the perfect scratching area and affording you years of trouble free wear and tear. The POD comes in a variety of colors and some color combinations have a limited production. Generally, any color you see on our trees can be put on the POD. If you want a particular color combination simply email us before placing your order. If we don’t currently carry the carpet color there will be an additional $25.00 set-up and production charge. This tree also comes as a single unit - there is no assembly required.
