     I have had a love for cats my whole life.  Growing up on a dairy farm, my parents always knew where to find me, in the barn searching for kittens.  More than just my love for cats, there has been an even greater love for the Persian breed.  There has always been a Persian cat in my parents home and today is no exception.
     In early 2007 my sister sent me on a quest to find her a Persian kitten on the Internet.  In that quest I began to dream of having my own cattery.  I already has a beautiful Silver Tabby Persian male who was neutered, but I wanted to become a breeder and to get into the show ring.  By the fall of 2007 I had my first breeding pair.  I was well on my way to what has now become Autumn-Purrs.  Along this journey, I have met some of the most wonderful breeders who were willing to give me a chance, and to share their beautiful kitties with me.  For this, I can not thank them enough!
     As for my sister, she is still searching for that perfect Persian of her own.  I hope that you enjoy our kitties as much as we do, and maybe we have that perfect Persian that you are searching for.

     Felichaun (pronounced "Felicon") is derived from the Irish nymph, Leprichaun.  We feel that the very essence of the Oriental cat closely mimics the antics of this funny creature, both in liveliness and personality.

Comments:     Sandypoints Cattery is a small cattery in Pennsylvania that has been raising CFA and (more recently) TICA registers Old-Style Siamese kittens for over 25 years.  Our kitten clients tell us that they have had difficulty location Old-Style kittens with good pedigrees that are not inbred.  This unfortunate situation is due to the fact that the Old-Style is on the verge of extinction since it lost favor in the show rings of the major cat fancies.

Although we love the show-style Siamese - they have the same wonderful personalities as the Old-Style - we do not breed them at this time.  Our immediate breeding goal is saving the old lineages and keeping them healthy.  Sadly, many of the old Siamese genes and lineages have been lost and can never be recovered.  Our kittens are dual registered with CFA and TICA.  They have pedigrees dating back to the introduction of Siamese to the United States (and beyond that, to the United Kingdom).

Comments:     Good Bengals are not inexpensive, you generally get what you pay for!  It is true, you can find Bengal kittens priced very low, but in most cases, these will not have the bright colors and vivid markings that you see on Bengals pictured on websites and in magazines.  Once you have decided on a kitten, a non-refundable deposit is required to hold the kitten until it is ready to go home.

There is a lot of personal involvement and expense involved in raising quality kittens, more than most people realize.  Our kittens are evaluated and priced accordingly.  Those that meet the Bengal standard, have the best markings, pattern, coloration, and conformation are oour top quality kittens and therefore are the most expensive.  Kittens go through many stages at they develop, so we're continually re-evaluating them as they get older.  We can generally tell at birth what to expect from a kitten and we price them accordingly.  But they do sometimes surprise us by getting better than we expected or not as nice as we'd like.  So we do reserve the right to re-assess them as they deveop and price them accordingly.  But once someone has placed a deposit on a kitten, the price is LOCKED in and will not increase.
